Program Syllabus & Description

The First Operational Supervisor (POP) Mining BNSP certification is mandatory for frontline supervisors in the mineral and coal mining sectors pursuant to the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 1827 K/30/MEM/2018.

8 Core Competency Units

  • Fulfilling mining safety duties and responsibilities in the designated operational area.
  • Conducting mining safety meetings (Safety Talks / Toolbox Meetings).
  • Performing mining accident investigations and incident analysis.
  • Conducting mining safety inspections and hazard risk assessments.
  • Formulating and implementing Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
  • Supervising OHS in the mining work environment and managing emergency response systems.
